About 101 Healthcare

Passion, promise, purpose: care that gives people more control over their own lives, not less.

What we believe

Good care fits around a person's life, not the other way round. We get to know each person's interests, habits, likes and dislikes, and build their support plan around them, working with their family, friends, social worker and anyone else who matters to them.

Our aim is for every person we support to be safer, more independent and more involved in their community than before they started with us.

Talk to us about care

Our values

  • Dignity and respect. Everyone is treated as an individual, with their privacy protected.
  • Choice and control. People decide how they're supported and what they do with their day.
  • Shared responsibility. Staff, the person, their family and professionals work as one team.
  • Room to achieve. Support is there to open doors, not to do things for people that they can do themselves.
  • Everyone valued. An open culture where staff and the people we support can speak up and be heard.

Safe, trained, accountable

Safer recruitment

Nobody works for us until their background checks, references and right-to-work checks are complete and on file.

Training that keeps going

All staff complete mandatory training, plus specialist training in learning disabilities, autism, behaviour that challenges and the Mental Capacity Act.

Enough staff, every shift

Rotas are planned so the right number of staff are on duty and the same faces keep coming.

Quality checked

Our registered manager oversees quality checks, supervision, care reviews and record keeping, working to CQC standards and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.

Who we support

  • Adults with learning disabilities and autism
  • Older people, including people living with dementia
  • People with mental health conditions
  • People with physical disabilities
  • People with complex and long-term health needs

Equality and inclusion

We respect every person's individuality, lifestyle, abilities and needs. Our staff work in an environment that promotes dignity and respect, where bullying, harassment and intimidation are never tolerated.

We regularly ask the people we support, their families and our staff how we can do better, and we act on what they tell us.
